I have been using Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Cloudflare for many years, and have experience in building and hosting my own servers in the UK and the Netherlands. You can rest assured that your website will be built on a solid foundation that can handle high traffic volumes and maintain reliability.
I take a performance-focused approach to website development, meaning that I will prioritise how your website looks and feels to your customer. I enjoy working with smaller companies looking to increase their online presence with a focus on performance, usability, search engine optimisation (SEO) and taste. Here are a couple of websites that I’m currently involved with.
A fairly complex website that allows Competitors Companion to provide links and tips to online competitions. This site allows users to create their own account to keep track of competitions they have entered, enter Competitors Companions own competitions, and take part in online games. Users can also pay to upgrade their account which allows them added benefits.
A simple website for a local artist and friend, he needed a way to show off his work and sell prints. The site uses AWS compute and Cloudflare CDN and R2 storage. Andy has an admin area where he can add new art and change details about his prints. The site also sells physical and PDF copies of his comics, the PDF comic is downloadable only by those who have purchased it.
